Foreman (Swimming Pools Maintenance) Jobs in Doha at Brick Stone Trading & Contracting
Job Purpose / Basic Function:
The main purpose of this position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily maintenance, operation, and repair of swimming pools, fountains, spas, and associated water features. The role ensures that all pool systems, including filtration, circulation, chemical dosing, and water quality, are maintained in accordance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements. The Foreman also supervises a team of technicians and ensures preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Supervise and allocate daily tasks to Swimming Pool Maintenance Technicians & Labourers
· Monitor technicians’ performance and ensure work is completed on schedule.
· Ensure regular inspection of pool equipment and accessories.
· Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and checklists.
· Monitor daily pool operations.
· Ensure proper water circulation and filtration.
· Maintain required water levels.
· Monitor chemical dosing systems.
· Ensure water quality complies with health standards.
· Diagnose and rectify faults in pool mechanical and electrical systems.
· Coordinate emergency repairs.
· Ensure safe working practices around water and electrical systems.
· Responsible for exercise due diligence towards health and safety of self & others in the organization.
· Responsible to comply with the applicable health & safety procedures, instruction, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.
· Responsible for reporting to his/her supervisors’ occurrence’s, events and acts that may affect health, safety and company reputation.
· Performs any other related duties and responsibilities as required or, assigned.
Qualifications:
· Must have driver’s license
· Must have 5–8 years of experience in swimming pool maintenance.
· Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
· Experience in supervising staff / labours
