Job Overview:
Greenscapes is seeking an experienced and reliable Foreman with a strong background in civil works and road construction to join our team for an upcoming project in Libya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site operations, managing labor teams, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities related to civil and roadworks
- Lead and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards
- Monitor work progress and report updates to project management
- Plan and schedule tasks, materials, and equipment usage
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control procedures are followed
- Enforce health and safety regulations on-site
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foreman in civil construction and roadworks projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Willingness to work on-site in Libya for the duration of the project
