Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Force Manager Assistant to support the CJ-3 Director. This role is responsible for assisting the headquarters in monitoring, assessing, and managing all force requirements. The position is based in Doha, Qatar, supporting the CENTCOM AOR.
Responsibilities
The Force Manager Assistant supports the CJ-3 Director by:
Providing advice and assistance to facilitate the management of U.S., Joint, and Coalition Force requirements, including the Combined Joint Statement of Requirements (CJSOR).
Assisting in managing Relief-In-Place (RIP) and redeployment activities.
Supporting the drafting of Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD), Requests for Forces (RFF), force management Operational Needs Statements (ONS), and Requests for Equipment (RFE).
Monitoring Global Force Management actions and coordinating with subordinate units, headquarters staff, and higher headquarters.
Contributing to the achievement of campaign plan-specific goals as specified by the COR.
Qualifications
Required
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of experience or equivalent.
Military background as a U.S. Army Global Force Manager, attaining a Commissioned Officer rank of O4 or higher, with at least three years of Combatant Command (COCOM) level experience.
Experience with Joint Capabilities Requirements Management.
Ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing requirements, contingencies, and challenging situations.
Ability to manage resources efficiently in time-sensitive situations.
Preferred
Skills and Experience:
Experience supporting U.S. Military Special Operations.
