La Liga Academy Abu Dhabi is looking for an energetic Football Coach to deliver world-class sessions and high-quality Football coaching across a range of programs, supporting player development and contributing to the success and showcase events that make football come alive for our community
Key Responsibilities:
On-Field Coaching
- Deliver structured and engaging coaching sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
- Provide individualized technical and tactical feedback to players.
- Monitor and evaluate player progress
Program Execution & Support
- Support the head coach in executing programs.
- Assist with the organization of tournaments, leagues, camps, and academy events.
- Ensure sessions run according to schedule
Player Welfare & Culture Building
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players.
- Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and goal setting.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants during coaching sessions.
Professional Representation & Teamwork
- Represent the academy professionally on and off the court.
- Collaborate with the coaches and support staff to deliver consistent and aligned training.
Facility & Equipment Management
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of courts and equipment for sessions.
- Report any issues related to facility, safety, or logistics to the head coach.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree or diploma in sports, physical education, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential (working knowledge of English required for parent and staff communication)
- Certified football coach, AFC, UEFA is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of football coaching experience in a club or academy.
- Experience coaching children and adults at beginner and intermediate levels.
- Exposure to tournament environments and player development structures is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of football fundamentals and modern coaching techniques.
- Currently based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai with valid UAE residency, or eligible to work part-time in the UAE
- Flexibility on work demands and schedule.
