Food Technology/Science Teacher – KS3 & KS4 Jobs in Dubai, UAE at Harries Group
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a well-established British school in Dubai.
The successful candidate will be passionate about food, nutrition and practical learning, with the ability to inspire students through engaging, hands-on lessons. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Food Technology curriculum while creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibiltiies:
– Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across the relevant year groups.
– Teach both theoretical and practical aspects of food technology, nutrition and food preparation.
– Develop students’ practical skills, creativity, critical thinking and understanding of food science.
– Prepare practical demonstrations, projects and assessments.
– Ensure excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety are maintained at all times.
– Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
– Contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental initiatives.
– Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
– Encourage students to develop a positive and informed approach to food, nutrition and healthy living.
