Role Description
The Food Server is a full-time, on-site role located in Al Ain, responsible for providing welcoming and efficient service to guests in our outlets. Day-to-day tasks include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, serving items accurately and promptly, and ensuring tables and service areas are clean and organized. The role involves working closely with the kitchen and barista teams to coordinate orders, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction, and handling payments and receipts with care. The Food Server also supports product presentation standards, follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, and contributes to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
- Knowledge of food & beverage and food service operations, including basic menu and product understanding.
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Basic cooking or food preparation awareness is beneficial for coordinating with kitchen staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced work environment.
- Attention to cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Previous experience in cafes, restaurants, or hospitality is an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Conversational proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
