Food Safety & Quality Control Officer
A specialized company in the confectionery and chocolate manufacturing industry is looking for a Food Safety & Quality Control Officer with the following requirements:
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Monitor product quality throughout all stages of production through to the finished product, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with approved specifications.
- Inspect and monitor raw materials, manufacturing methods, storage, shelf life, and packaging.
- Implement and monitor HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP systems.
- Identify product problems and defects, determine their causes, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor product quality and food safety throughout the production stages.
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation, Allergens, and Traceability.
- Maintain and update records, procedures, and documentation.
- Prepare the facility for inspections and audits.
- Train and monitor employees on food safety and quality requirements.
- Monitor chocolate and Chocolate Tempering, including knowledge of temperatures, handling methods, and storage.
