As part of our expanding operations in the Middle East region, we are seeking a Food Quality Technician to join our dynamic team. Based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary: Responsible for testing materials and finished products and Raw Material to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards. Quality control technicians test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met. And overseeing quality assurance and quality control, and collecting, analysing, and interpreting lab results.
Duties / Role / Responsibility:
Daily, weekly and monthly quality testing, inspections and procedures.
Initiate corrective actions to have final products with required specifications.
Support Quality Control Manager to train associates on safety program to protect employees against harm.
Update and maintain all documentation for auditing purposes and collect samples for shelf life and laboratory analysis.
Report to QC Supervisor or QC Manager specific information related to product information from R&D, PPD, or production.
Conduct quality calibrations, internal audits and project assignments in timely, safe and professional manner.
Report results, issues and roadblocks to Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager.
Convey any instrumentation issues to QC Supervisor for review and resolution.
Report QC Supervisor or QC Manager of unusual product observations and analytical results while analyzing or sample handling.
Comply with established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
Participate in the use of a relevant and reliable system to measure quality based on internal and external indicators in order to select priority non quality to be addressed; track on a monthly basis corrective action plans created following a stringent analysis of the causes of the priority non quality.
Participate in developing and maintaining an appropriate control and internal audit plan.
Participate in building an integrated and effective quality management system, compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ILO OSH 2001 and ISO14001, operate Group Quality Policy on the site and achieve the FS 22000 certification required by the Group.
Adhere with factory Safety, Rules & regulations.
Education & Experience:
Diploma of Food Science and Technology or equivalent
Good knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
MS Office.
Good communication skills.
