Role Summary
As a Joinery Draftsman, your role will be to change the rough sketches and designs from engineers and architects to technical drawings and plans in such a way that they are understandable by everyone.
You should have extensive experience working with AutoCAD software, advanced design skills, and a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a top-class AutoCAD drafter can design and create high-level design models that meet all the specifications of the client.
Duties and responsibilities
Joinery and interior designing for 2D Plans and 3D plans, detailed shop drawing for mainly joinery & interior fit out.
Prepare free hand section details for site team.
Prepare the schedule based on the full scope of work.
Prepare/schedule the material list and sample board.
Execute the interior works as per design.
Prepare and draw shop drawings as per site conditions and as per BOQ.
Prepare and draw Plan.
Prepare as Built drawing as per site conditions.
Prepare transmittal and drawing submission.
***Diploma in Civil/Design/Architecture/Joinery is preferred***
Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
The designer will be responsible for managing the joinery design functions on Fit out projects as assigned including liaising with the clients and other departments.
Knowledge in Joinery/Fit out/Interior Design Industry.
Knowledge in types and fixing of material and finishes.
Self-reliance & ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max,3D modeling, Photoshop Adobe, Microsoft office.
Design knowledge for Safety & Aesthetics, follow UAE Authority Guidelines
General Knowledge of the interior fit out/joinery industry & competition
Knowledge in Space Planning & Commercial Interior Environment, Fit out detailing, Specifications, Suppliers & Materials is a must
Excellent English and Hindi language skills – Verbal & Written.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
