Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for operating 6 Wheel,2-axle and tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Dump Trucks: Safely operate,6 Wheel, 2-axle and tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to and from construction sites, quarries, and other locations.
Load and Unload Materials: Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, verify the type and amount of material being transported, and secure the load as necessary.
Follow Routes and Schedules: Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials, adjusting routes as necessary due to traffic or weather conditions.
Inspect Vehicles: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in proper working order. Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
Maintain Logs: Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Complete necessary paperwork for each job.
Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe working environment.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Vehicle Maintenance: Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience driving,6wheel 2-axle and/or tri-axle dump trucks.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid emirates driving license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate using GPS and maps. Understanding of weight limits, load securement, and material handling.
Skills: Strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Environment: Primarily outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and dust. May require early morning, late evening, and weekend shifts.
Schedule: Full-time, [specific hours or shifts], with potential for overtime during peak seasons.
Compensation:
Salary: AED 3,000 per month
Overtime: AED 15 per trip after the first 5 trips each day
Joining: Immediately needed.
