We are seeking a passionate and experienced Floristry Lecturer / Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of floristry, floral design, and flower arrangement techniques, along with the ability to inspire and guide students in developing their creative and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons in floristry and floral design.
- Teach students various flower arrangement techniques, including bouquets, centerpieces, event arrangements, and contemporary floral designs.
- Develop lesson plans, training materials, and practical activities.
- Guide and assess students throughout their learning journey.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and creative learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the floristry industry.
- Support students in building the skills required for professional careers in floristry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Florist, Floral Designer, Floristry Trainer, or Lecturer.
- Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, floral care, and design principles.
- Excellent practical skills in creating a variety of floral arrangements.
- Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for creativity, education, and student development.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in floristry are an advantage.
