We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Florist Assistant to support our team.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in the creation of floral arrangements under the guidance of senior florists.
– Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace and shop.
– Help manage inventory and unpack new shipments of flowers and supplies.
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs.
– Prepare flowers for arrangements by cutting, conditioning, and arranging them.
– Deliver floral arrangements to clients as needed.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a flower shop or similar environment is preferred.
– Basic knowledge of floral design and flower care.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Good communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Interest in floral design and willingness to learn.
– Certification in Floral Design or related field is a plus.
