About Us:
We are a growing construction company managing a fleet of over 25 vehicles, including heavy trucks, pickups, and machinery. We are looking for a Fleet Manager to oversee vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, driver performance, and overall fleet efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and repair costs.
Track fuel consumption and reduce excessive fuel wastage through GPS & telematics monitoring.
Enforce daily vehicle checklists for drivers and engineers to ensure proper use of company vehicles.
Supervise repairs, negotiate with workshops and service providers, and maintain records of maintenance costs.
Implement fleet policies and ensure all drivers comply with company standards.
Manage vehicle registrations, insurance renewals, and regulatory compliance.
Generate weekly/monthly reports on vehicle expenses, maintenance records, and driver behavior.
Requirements:
Experience: 3+ years in fleet management, preferably in construction or logistics.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair costs.
Software Skills: Experience using fleet management systems or GPS tracking tools is a plus.
Communication: Strong ability to coordinate with drivers, workshops, and management.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
Driving License: Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
