Position: Fit4rail Summer Internship 2026 @Siemens Mobility
Siemens Mobility is currently operating and maintaining the Education City Tram System, the world’s first low‑floor, catenary‑free tram system. The network spans 11 km and connects the North and South Campuses of Education City with 19 Siemens Avenio trams, utilising a Hybrid Energy System (HES) that combines supercapacitors and batteries.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day tasks and projects related to your area of focus.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Provide support in creating and delivering presentations or reports.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
- Follow the company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student in Finance or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work proactively and have a good sense of teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong influence and initiative.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively.
- Work independently, safely, and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and wish to develop the ability to drive and lead change.
