Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Fitness Studio Manager & Lead Instructor to oversee studio operations, drive sales, and expand business opportunities. This is a leadership role that requires a strong sales mindset, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to inspire both clients and staff. You will be responsible for membership growth, client retention, and creating new business opportunities while also leading high-quality fitness classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to increase membership sales, class packages, and retail revenue.
Identify and pursue partnerships, corporate wellness programs, and local business collaborations.
Track and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies for continuous improvement.
Create client retention initiatives to enhance loyalty and long-term engagement.
Lead and train staff in sales techniques and exceptional customer service.
Studio Management:
Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring a seamless and welcoming client experience.
Manage class schedules, instructor assignments, and front desk operations.
Hire, train, and motivate a team of instructors and staff.
Implement marketing initiatives, special events, and promotions.
Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.
Lead Instructor Responsibilities:
Teach dynamic, results-driven classes in one or more modalities (Pilates Reformer, Yoga, Barre, Trapeze).
Deliver an engaging and motivating experience that keeps clients coming back.
Offer modifications and personal attention to accommodate different fitness levels.
Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the fitness/wellness industry, preferably with management and sales experience.
Proven track record in sales, membership growth, and business development.
Certified in Pilates Reformer, Yoga, Barre, or related fitness discipline (multiple certifications a plus).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling/CRM software.
Ability to drive revenue, manage budgets, and develop strategic business plans.
