Role Description The Fit-Out Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for overseeing interior fit-out works for restaurant projects from inception to handover. The role involves coordinating daily site activities, supervising contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and brand standards. The Fit-Out Site Supervisor monitors project timelines, quality of workmanship, safety compliance, and material usage, while maintaining accurate records of progress, inspections, and issues. The position requires close collaboration with project managers, designers, vendors, and operations teams to address technical challenges, manage changes, and support timely opening of new or refurbished outlets. The supervisor also participates in site meetings, prepares reports, and ensures that all fit-out activities align with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily fit-out works at the project site.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, consultants, and other site teams.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved materials and standards.
- Check site measurements and ensure proper execution of architectural and interior works.
- Coordinate activities such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, doors, and other finishing works.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily activities.
- Ensure work progress is in line with the approved project schedule.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant engineers for timely solutions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, delays, and technical issues.
- Ensure proper coordination between fit-out works and MEP services.
- Follow up on material deliveries and ensure materials are properly stored and protected.
- Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and site requirements.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update the project team on site activities.
- Assist in inspections, snagging, rectification, and final handover works.
- Ensure completed works are properly protected until project handover.
