Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Project Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of GCC experience, including strong KSA experience, to manage and supervise high-end interior fit-out projects.
The ideal candidate must have a strong technical and hands-on background in fit-out, joinery, carpentry and finishing works, with proven experience in delivering luxury projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day fit-out project activities.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within quality standards and project requirements.
- Review architectural, interior, Fitout and joinery drawings.
- Coordinate shop drawings, material approvals, mock-ups and technical submittals.
- Supervise joinery, carpentry and finishing works, including doors, wall paneling, cabinetry, flooring, ceilings, painting, marble, glass and decorative finishes.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and subcontractor performance.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate snagging, de-snagging and project handover.
- Identify technical issues, delays and variations and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in GCC.
- Strong KSA project experience is required.
- Proven experience in high-end/luxury interior fit-out projects.
- Strong background in joinery, carpentry and finishing works.
- Experience in hospitality, luxury residential, retail, commercial or F&B projects is preferred.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office; Primavera/MS Project is an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English.
Preferred Profile: Candidates with a solid background in high-end fit-out + joinery + finishing works and proven experience successfully delivering projects in KSA/GCC. Lebanese nationals will be strongly preferred.
