About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fit-Out Engineer and Joinery to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in interior fit-out projects, as well as fresh graduates who are eager to start their careers in the construction and fit-out industry.
The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of fit-out works and joinery to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution and supervision of interior fit-out and joinery projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and direct clients.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure quality standards and safety regulations are maintained on-site.
- Assist in material procurement and coordination of deliveries.
- Support project documentation, including shop drawings, RFIs, and approvals.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support when required.
- Assist in project handover and close-out activities.
- Direct report to CEO.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or Diploma Holders.
- 0–2 years of experience in fit-out, interior construction, or related projects.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and Diploma Holders.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and fit-out processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with interior fit-out works, joinery, MEP coordination, and finishing activities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
