DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role focuses on automating deployments, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and managing CI/CD pipelines for scalable and efficient cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud architectures.
Manage AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudFront, Route 53, VPCs, and IAM.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
2. CI/CD Automation & Deployment
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
Automate deployment processes using Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Implement blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollback strategies.
3. Monitoring, Logging & Performance Optimization
Set up monitoring & logging using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Optimize database performance (RDS, DynamoDB) and application load balancing (ALB, NLB, API Gateway).
4. Security & Compliance
Implement AWS security best practices including IAM policies, KMS encryption, and VPC security groups.
Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and automate security patching.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR standards.
5. Automation & Scripting
Automate cloud operations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Write Lambda functions for automation and serverless operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
✅ Strong Linux & networking knowledge (DNS, firewalls, load balancing).
✅ Expertise in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
✅ Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
✅ Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS).
✅ Monitoring & logging (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
✅ Security best practices (IAM roles, encryption, patching, firewall rules).
Preferred Certifications
– AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
– AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
– Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED12,000.00 – AED25,000.00 per month
