Job Description – Firefighting Technician
Position: Firefighting Technician
Location: Salalah, Sultanate of Oman
Experience Required: 5–10 Years GCC Experience
Qualification: Technical Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / Fire & Safety or related field
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of firefighting systems.
- Maintain and service fire protection systems including:
- Fire Hydrant System
- Sprinkler System
- Hose Reel System
- Fire Pump System (Jockey, Electric & Diesel Pumps)
- FM-200 / Clean Agent Systems (if applicable)
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire protection systems.
- Troubleshoot system faults and ensure systems are fully operational at all times.
- Carry out routine inspection, testing, and reporting of fire systems.
- Assist in hydrostatic testing and system pressure testing activities.
- Ensure all works are carried out as per NFPA standards and local civil defense requirements.
- Support emergency breakdown maintenance and urgent repair works.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams for maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and maintenance records.
