Key Responsibilities
- Monitor hot work operations to ensure fire safety requirements are followed.
- Inspect work areas before, during, and after hot work activities.
- Identify and eliminate potential fire hazards such as flammable materials and combustible gases.
- Maintain continuous surveillance of the work area during hot work.
- Keep firefighting equipment readily available and ensure it is in good condition.
- Sound alarms and initiate emergency response procedures if a fire or unsafe condition is detected.
- Ensure escape routes and emergency access points remain clear.
- Communicate with supervisors, welders, and safety personnel regarding safety concerns.
- Complete fire watch logs, permits, and inspection records as required.
- Remain on duty for the designated fire watch period after hot work is completed.
Pay: AED1,800.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
