ACT Group is hiring Fire Watch personnel to support oil & gas, refinery, and industrial projects across the Eastern Province. The role involves monitoring hot work activities, preventing fire hazards, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and responding to fire emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work activities.
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
- Inspect work areas before, during, and after hot work.
- Maintain firefighting equipment readiness.
- Report unsafe conditions and respond to fire emergencies.
- Complete Fire Watch logs and HSE documentation.
- Follow client HSE procedures and attend safety meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Fire Watch experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical projects.
- Valid Fire Watch and Basic Firefighting certification.
- Knowledge of PTW systems and hot work safety.
- Able to read basic English and work in demanding site conditions.
- Saudi Aramco/SABIC approval is an advantage.
