Job Qualifications
Fire Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
10 years’ experience in an industrial firefighting role
Thorough Knowledge of NFPA codes and Standards
Responsibilities
Ensure prompt and efficient implementation of firefighting procedures and equipment facilities in line with statutory requirements, international standards, and company policies
Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment; conduct fire drills, demonstrations, and training for employees
Design and maintain detection equipment, alarm systems, and extinguishing devices
Supervise installation and maintenance of manual and automatic fire suppression systems
Conduct inspections and maintain reporting records
Lead fire drills and emergency response procedure communications
Manage fire risk and incident investigations
Ensure operational readiness of firefighting systems
Skills and Attributes
Expert technical knowledge in firefighting equipment standards
Professional expertise in firefighting principles and concepts
Leadershipattributes and integrity
Strong analytical thinking andproblem-solving skills
Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
Knowledge of foam system characteristics and specifications
Experience with firewater pumps assurance and functional testing
Expertise in emergency response
