Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fire Fighting Technician role based in Abu Dhabi. The Fire Fighting Technician will install, inspect, test, and maintain fire protection and suppression systems, including fire extinguishers and related safety equipment. The role involves performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system faults, and recommending corrective actions to ensure full functionality and compliance with local codes and standards. The technician will document all work performed, support safety audits, and collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues. The position also includes responding to urgent service calls, supporting system commissioning, and following all company and regulatory safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fire Extinguisher handling, inspection, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fire Suppression Systems installation, testing, and servicing.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fire Safety and Life Safety practices, codes, and standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in fire protection systems.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in fire protection, safety engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of fire protection equipment in commercial or industrial settings is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, follow manufacturer guidelines, and maintain accurate service records.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-oriented mindset, and ability to work collaboratively on-site and in the field.
