Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced *ASIC Repair Specialist* to diagnose, repair, and maintain ASIC mining hardware. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting electronic components, performing board-level repairs, and ensuring optimal miner performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and repair faulty ASIC miners (e.g., Bitmain, Whatsminer, Avalon, etc.).
– Troubleshoot and fix hashboards, control boards, and power supply issues.
– Conduct soldering, rework, and reflow of PCB components (SMT & THT).
– Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify hardware failures.
– Replace damaged chips, resistors, capacitors, and other board-level components.
– Maintain repair logs and document findings for future reference.
– Work closely with the operations team to optimize miner performance.
– Follow safety procedures and handle electronic components with care.
### *Requirements:*
– Proven experience in ASIC miner repair or electronics troubleshooting.
– Strong understanding of circuit boards, microchips, and power distribution.
– Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering small components.
– Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
– Ability to read and interpret schematics and circuit diagrams.
– Knowledge of firmware flashing and miner configuration is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
– Hands-on experience with ASIC miners such as Antminer, Whatsminer, or Avalon.
– Previous experience in cryptocurrency mining operations.
