Fire Fighting Technician Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Security Systems
Job Responsibilities:
Experts in understanding firefighting-fire suppression shop-construction drawings.
Experienced in understanding the details of mechanical pipes, fittings & other related items & the areas-systems where these items are suitable.
Experienced in pipes fabrication works like marking, cutting (including by using gas cutters), grinding, threading, brazing, and grooving using appropriate working machinery & its field installation.
Experienced in pressure testing (pneumatic & hydro) activities including the NFPA requirement of testing pressure ranges.
Safe handling-lifting of site-related items like pipes and pressurized cylinders (especially for fire suppression installation activities).
Experts in perfectly communicating and coordinating technical, non-technical & safety-related points with co-workers, HSE, client & main-sub contractor representatives upon requirement.
Experienced in leading high-level access works & basic knowledge in scaffolding erecting.
Experts in preparation of work permits & site safety-related basic documents including computer knowledge.
Experienced in the maintenance service field like Fire pumps & Engine/ FM‐200 system/ Deluge System/ Sprinklers etc. Ventilation system, Sprinkler system, Deluge system, and Fire suppression system like Co2 system, NOVAC system, INERGEN system, FM‐200 & Wet chemical systems. Maintenance and routine checks of different types of Fire Fighting Systems to ensure safe & correct operations of all the relevant equipment.
Commercial buildings, Oil & gas plant,hands-on workexperience are essential.
Strong knowledge in Fire Fighting equipment’s, procedures for installation/maintenance activities of all the FP & FS Systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma/ITT/Equivalent with a minimum experience of 5‐6 years in the maintenance field.
Must know Qatar Civil Defense regulations and can conduct the QCDD inspections.
Valid QID and NOC.
