We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems & gas interface in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install fire alarm systems, including wiring and equipment such as panels, detectors, and pull stations.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure they are in working order.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty fire alarm systems.
Conduct tests on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Comply with local, state, and national fire code requirements in all work performed.
Document all installation, inspection, testing, and repair work.
Communicate with clients to provide information about the fire alarm systems and their operation.
Teach clients how to use fire alarm systems correctly and respond to alarms.
Coordinate with fire department and other emergency services as necessary.
Stay updated with the latest safety standards and fire alarm system technology.
