Finishing Carpenter (Ceiling & Wood Joinery)
Responsible for installing and finishing wooden works, ceiling structures, and joinery items such as cabinets, doors, partitions, and decorative wood elements while ensuring high-quality finishing and precise measurements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble wooden joinery items such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and wooden panels.
- Perform ceiling works including gypsum ceilings, wooden ceilings, and decorative ceiling structures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials using carpentry tools and machines.
- Install skirting, architraves, frames, and wooden decorative elements.
- Repair or replace damaged woodwork and joinery items when required.
- Read and follow drawings and specifications for carpentry works.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of all wooden installations.
- Use tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and other carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow health and safety procedures during carpentry works.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in finishing carpentry and wood joinery works.
- Knowledge of ceiling installation (gypsum or wooden ceiling systems).
- Ability to read measurements and perform precise cutting and installation.
- Good understanding of wood finishing and installation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in finishing carpentry, ceiling work, and joinery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,250.00 per month
