Take It Easy Mail is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to join our finance team in Al Wakrah. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reports, supporting strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise and a commitment to excellence in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and company policies
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and ensure reporting accuracy
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management
- Maintain and improve financial reporting processes and controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial reporting or general accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or service industries
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
