The SC FP&A – is responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain planning activities in the NEA region. This role involves assessing inventory levels, forecasting demand, optimizing cash conversion cycle, and collaborating with various departments to align supply chain operations with business objectives. The supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products while adapting to the unique market dynamics of the NEA region.
Responsibilities:
Provide ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by FP&A, Logistics/Supply Chain.
Partner with FP&A Manager to establish inventory targets and KPIs.
Partner with the wider Supply Chain team to ensure decision-making is guided and influenced by finance.
Works on complex analysis to provide insights (e.g., impairment, restructuring projects, new line/plant setups).
Take ownership of the day-to-day financial management of inventory.
Manage supply chain operating costs, including raw and pack materials and manufacturing overheads.
Ensure proper allocation of overheads to the products.
Prepare standard cost calculations for manufacturing.
Prepare monthly/annual purchase price variance analysis and identify change drivers.
Prepare monthly costing reports.
Analyze product-wise profitability.
Analyze actual costs against budgeted costs and explain variances.
Capex planning and budget monitoring.
Depreciation forecasting for budget purposes.
Undertake costing of new products and periodic cost revisions.
Prepare standard cost calculations for manufacturing.
Analyze product-wise profitability.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing preferably within FMCG.
Proven experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory analysis
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas for data manipulation and analysis
Advanced knowledge of Cost and Plant accounting
Comfortable with managing and analyzing large data and developing visualization in Slides
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
