The Financial Planning Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the company’s long-term business plan, including building and managing financial models, performing in-depth financial analysis, and contributing to strategic business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial planning, with deep expertise in developing business plan financial models from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Plan Financial Models: Develop, implement, and maintain highly detailed and accurate financial models to support the company’s long-term business plans, forecasts, and strategic goals.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial forecasting to evaluate the performance of various business strategies.
Company Valuation: Contribute to the company’s valuation process by using advanced financial techniques to assess performance and valuation metrics.
Strategic Business Planning: Lead the creation of long-term financial strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, and work with senior leadership to drive decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Operations, Sales, and Marketing to ensure accurate and timely financial information for strategic planning purposes.
Reporting & Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations for senior executives, providing insights and recommendations on financial performance and strategic planning.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, models, and tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial forecasting and planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
7+ years of experience in financial planning, end-to-end building long-term business plan.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and cost/benefit analysis.
Experience in the aviation industry is a plus but not required.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Highly proficient in financial modeling tools (Excel, etc.) and financial planning software.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
