Employment Type: Full‑Time, Executive Leadership

The CFO is a senior executive responsible for shaping and leading the financial strategy of The Company. This role combines strategic leadership, financial stewardship, ecosystem‑oriented growth planning, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in tech‑enabled platforms or ecosystems, preferably in HealthTech, fintech, or other high‑growth digital sectors.

The CFO must be a forward‑thinking leader who can support The Company’s scaling ambitions while ensuring financial resilience, compliance, and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and lead Waseel’s overall financial strategy in alignment with growth objectives and Vision 2030 priorities.

Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to shape long‑term plans, investment priorities, and business model optimization.

Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning that supports sustainable expansion and ecosystem adoption.

Financial Planning & Performance Management

Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and capital allocation.

Set financial KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across business units and product lines.

Funding & Capital Strategy

Lead fundraising efforts, including dialogues with investors, venture partners, strategic stakeholders, and lenders.

Evaluate and structure optimal financing options, including equity, debt, and strategic partnerships.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.

Build robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance practices.

Ecosystem & Partnerships Enablement

Analyze financial dynamics of ecosystem partners (e.g., providers, payers, technology integrators) and develop value‑sharing models.

Support decisions on pricing, incentives, and revenue‑sharing mechanisms crucial for SaaS and RCM offerings.

Operational Finance & Team Leadership

Lead the finance and accounting teams, including controllers, FP&A, treasury, and reporting functions.

Promote automation, data‑driven decision‑making, and technology adoption in financial operations.

Stakeholder Reporting

Present accurate financial reports and insights to executives, board members, investors, and partners.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Professional Background

15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in tech‑driven companies (e.g., HealthTech, SaaS platforms, fintech, digital ecosystems).

Proven track record as a CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Financial Executive responsible for strategic finance and scaling operations.

Experience managing complex revenue streams (subscription, transaction‑based, platform‑linked) is strongly preferred.

Experience with fundraising, venture capital engagement, or strategic investor relations.

Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, capitalization strategy, risk management, compliance, and treasury.

Strong understanding of digital financial systems, SaaS metrics (MRR/ARR), and ecosystem revenue modeling.

Exceptional business partner to CEOs and boards, with a focus on scaling, transformation, and ecosystem value creation.

Strong communicator capable of translating complex financial insights into strategic decisions.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).

Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance) and/or professional certification (CPA, CFA) strongly preferred.
