Financial Controller Jobs in Dubai at IDEAL HOME FURNITURE FACTORY
We are looking for a mid-level Financial Controller to support the Group finance function across multiple companies, including Contracting and real-estate development, technology and AI-related businesses.
The role will support financial reporting, general ledger control, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, compliance, and management reporting. The candidate should be hands-on, organized, and able to work with different business units at group level.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
- Monitor payables, receivables, intercompany balances, and cost allocations.
- Ensure proper accounting records across group companies.
- Support VAT, audit requirements, and compliance documentation.
- Work with business teams to improve financial controls and reporting accuracy.
- Support finance setup and reporting for technology / AI-related business activities.
- Prepare financial analysis to support management decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4–7 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in UAE.
- Experience with GL, month-end closing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and basic compliance requirements.
- Experience working with group companies, multiple entities, or shared finance functions is preferred.
- Knowledge or exposure to technology companies, software, AI, or digital business models is an advantage.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting/ERP systems is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or part-qualified is an advantage.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Experience in technology, AI, software, contracting, real estate, or group holding companies is a plus.
