Position: Financial Controller
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or MBA/PG Diploma in Business Management
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Finance, with at least 2 years in a similar role
Hospitality industry experience is mandatory
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Knowledge of local and national tax regulations
Job Description:
The Financial Controller oversees the hotel’s Finance and Accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities include budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, staff supervision, and liaising with management on financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the finance department to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Implement and monitor internal control policies
Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Supervise accounting procedures in compliance with company policies and local laws
Manage staff, including hiring, training, and evaluation
Oversee purchases, payroll, and expenses
Ensure legal compliance regarding leases, permits, and taxes
Prepare financial reports and tax submissions
Collaborate with other departments to control expenses and maximize profitability
