Our client, a reputable organization in the Financial Services industry, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight — Lead daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all activities.
- Financial Reporting — Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with regulatory standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting — Develop budgets, monitor performance, and provide financial forecasts.
- Cash Flow Management — Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and financial risk mitigation.
- Audit Coordination — Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
- Compliance — Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and industry standards.
- Process Improvement — Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership — Supervise accounting teams, provide guidance, and support professional development.
Requirements
- Experience — 6–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably within financial services.
- Education — Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Technical Skills — Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Analytical Skills — Ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Attention to Detail — High accuracy in financial entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Communication — Clear communication skills for internal coordination and stakeholder reporting.
- UAE Regulations — Strong understanding of VAT, compliance, and local accounting standards.
