You will be responsible for the health of our balance sheet, the efficiency of our controls, and the accuracy of our future projections. Your Strategic Mandate
- Fiscal Oversight: Lead the end-to-end financial reporting process, ensuring all statements comply with IFRS and Qatari regulatory standards.
- Budgetary Control: Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, providing the executive team with critical variance analysis.
- Internal Governance: Design, implement, and monitor a robust internal control framework to mitigate risk and optimize operational efficiency.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee treasury functions and optimize working capital to support the group’s expansion plans.
- Tax & Compliance: Manage all corporate tax obligations via the Dhareeba portal and prepare the organization for future VAT implementation.
- Business Intelligence: Translate raw financial data into actionable insights that influence pricing, investment, and cost-reduction strategies.
Who You Are
- The Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A professional certification is mandatory (CPA, ACCA, or CMA).
- The Veteran: 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a Controller or Senior Finance Manager role within the GCC region.
- The Analyst: Advanced mastery of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) and a deep love for data-driven storytelling.
- The Local Expert: Comprehensive knowledge of Qatar’s Commercial Companies Law and General Tax Authority (GTA) requirements.
- The Leader: A proven ability to mentor finance teams and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (written and verbal). Arabic is considered a significant asset.
