Role Description
This is a remote, contract position for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing accounting records, performing financial reporting, and analyzing budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Accounting
- Proven Analytical Skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and drive data-based decisions
- Comprehensive understanding of Finance and financial management principles
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA, CMA, or relevant financial certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in the wellness or fitness industry is advantageous
