Role Description The Financial Controller role at CLASS PROvia is a full-time, on-site position based in Jiddah. This role oversees the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. Daily responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate general ledger entries. The Financial Controller will maintain internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. This role also collaborates with leadership and project teams to evaluate event profitability, optimize cost structures, and provide financial insights that enhance overall business performance.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, and preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting internal and external audits.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and oversee day-to-day transactional accounting activities.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in event management, hospitality, or a project-based business environment is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Jiddah and adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
