Job Title: Financial Controller / Financial Auditor
We are looking for a Financial Controller / Financial Auditor to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing financial policies, overseeing accounting systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing financial procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise the accounting team and apply cost-reduction strategies to maximize profit.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that accounting activities comply with financial policies, legal regulations, and government procedures.
Implement approved work programs to achieve financial objectives.
Assist the CFO in providing accounting advice to senior management.
Manage the accounting team, assign tasks, and oversee performance.
Supervise daily accounting operations and month-end closing processes.
Oversee bank reconciliations, monthly provisions, and commission calculations.
Review daily sales reports and customer aging schedules.
Prepare financial reports and verify accuracy before submission.
Supervise periodic and annual inventory counts.
Oversee payroll and salary preparations for employees.
Audit financial requests, contractor invoices, and supplier contracts.
Ensure proper tax compliance, including VAT, Zakat, and other tax obligations.
Manage financial operations between the holding company and subsidiaries.
Monitor investment portfolios and provide financial insights for new projects.
Liaise with internal and external auditors to meet reporting requirements.
Ensure proper governance of the company’s accounting system.
Stay updated on real estate valuation and off-plan sales regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in financial controlling, auditing, and financial management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in financial reporting, tax compliance, and budget planning.
Experience in ERP accounting systems.
Knowledge of real estate financial regulations is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
