Financial Supervisor Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, andcash flow management.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance.
Analyze financial data and prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts forsenior management.
Monitor and analyze variances between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted amounts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate and assist with external audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.
Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto support business initiatives, evaluate the financial feasibility of projects, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management, and propose and implement improvements to enhance financial processes and controls.
Financial Supervisor Required Skills
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, andfinancial analysistechniques.
Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw accurate conclusions.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and financial modelling software.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification CMA is preferred.
Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role, with at least 10 years in a supervisory capacity.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting practices,financial analysistechniques, and accounting principles.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Proficiency in using financial software systems and tools.
Strong understanding ofregulatory compliancerequirements and financial laws and regulations.
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
Ability to work effectively in ateam environmentand collaborate withcross-functional teams.
