The role is based full time in their Dubai office with a competitive package. What the job involves
Provide research and execution support to the finance team, contributing to the development and implementation of the company’s financial and investment strategy.
Build and maintain advanced financial models to support ongoing projects and provide strategic recommendations.
Conduct detailed research into energy markets, oil and gas companies, and financing opportunities for the firm’s projects.
Assist with raising debt, equity, and financing for energy projects, with a focus on upstream oil and gas operations in Iraq and other regions.
Collaborate with senior management to prepare high-quality presentations, strategic analysis, and reports.
Support business development efforts by identifying and evaluating new opportunities aligned with the company’s growth plans.
Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and strategic goals.
Who we are looking for
A professional from investment banking with expertise in project finance and the energy sector, particularly oil and gas.
Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or Physics most preferred. A CFA or MBA is a plus.
Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis, with a keen ability to develop actionable insights and solutions.
Familiarity with project finance in investment banking, including the unique challenges faced by companies raising funds for oil and gas projects.
A data-driven problem-solver who can adapt to complex, fast-paced environments and deliver high-quality results.
