This role will be part of the Finance team working on various reporting and analytics requirements including but not limited to KPI reporting on regular basis, variance analysis for actual vs budget, supporting in budgeting and rolling forecast.
Responsibilities:
A financial analyst working in financial planning and budgeting is a crucial member of the team and has a range of important responsibilities and accountability. These responsibilities typically include:
KPIs reporting – Managing KPIs reporting independently on weekly and daily basis and then monthly and YTD view as well along with variance analysis vs budget and year on year growth which includes mid-month and month end reporting
Help in explaining variance analysis on actual vs budget by line item and by vertical / portfolio level etc. so that business heads can take right decision in terms or pricing changes etc.
Support the team in budgeting and rolling forecast with utmost accuracy at client / sector level on monthly basis
Working on the profitability report at merchant level and drawing segment level profitability including analysis on performance.
Collaborating with Other Team Members: Financial planning and budgeting is a cross-functional activity, and the financial analyst is often required to collaborate with other team members, such as senior financial analysts and financial managers, to ensure that budgets and financial projections accurately reflect the company’s overall plans and objectives.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years’ prior relevant experience mainly across FPNA
Experience in Fintech companies would be an add on
Holding a similar role with a high value and volume business with multiple service offerings
Job-Specific Skills:
Previous experience with commercial/financial data analysis / FPNA
Ability to challenge and review with an analytical mindset
