Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the finance teams of the “Building Materials and Services” portfolio of companies to periodically report their financial results.
Conduct financial analysis of “Building Materials and Services” portfolio of companies.
Conduct market analysis to determine industry trends and explore potential investment opportunities.
Analyze companies using financial statements, ratios and valuation models (DCF, comparables analysis and precedent transactions). Ability to use Bloomberg Terminal for companies’ research is required.
Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations.
Build and maintain financial models to forecast performance and valuation of potential investments.
Support in due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
A degree in Engineering or Construction Management may also be considered if complemented by strong financial experience
CFA designation (or progress toward it) is a plus.
3–4 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following environments, Investment banking, Equity research, corporate investment or strategy team.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data.
Hands-on experience in financial modeling and preparing detailed financial reports
Solid understanding of the construction and building materials industry is highly desirable.
Ability to synthesize market trends and financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
