We have an urgent requirement for financial accounting – experience in investment operations, portfolio administration in the banking/financial investment domain for a client in Abu Dhabi.
Job Role
This position is intended for an investment professional currently based in the UAE, who is ready to join immediately. The role involves providing specialized back‑office support with a core focus on fixed‑income and bond market operations. Responsibilities include assisting with investment data management, trade processing, clearing, and the systematic monitoring of bond portfolios. You will maintain precise records of transactions, positions, and corporate actions, and assist senior analysts with performance tracking, yield analysis, and ad‑hoc projects.
Requirements
& Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in investment operations and portfolio administration involving fixed‑income or debt instruments.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (mandatory).
- CFA Level 1 or ACCA qualification (highly preferred).
- Technical understanding of fixed‑income fundamentals, including bond pricing and credit structures.
- Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP; familiarity with Bloomberg or Capital IQ is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ensuring adherence to internal investment policies and UAE regulatory requirements.
