In the fast-moving world of property sales and rentals, timing is everything. We need an accountant who doesn’t just manage the books but understands the heartbeat of a brokerage—from managing commission splits to tracking property portfolios and ensuring our financial foundation is as solid as the homes we sell.
Your Mission
- Revenue Management: Expertly handle commission calculations, agent payouts, and rental income processing.
- PDC & Escrow Management: Meticulously track Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs), security deposits, and rental collections.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly P&L statements and balance sheets that reflect the health of our Ar-Rayyan operations.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure all transactions align with Qatar’s General Tax Authority (GTA) regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Vendor & Agent Liaison: Manage accounts payable/receivable and act as the primary point of contact for financial queries from our real estate agents.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain an impeccable digital filing system.
Your Credentials
- The Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- The Expertise: 3–5 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates coming from the Real Estate or Property Management sectors in Qatar.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Qatar’s financial laws and IFRS standards.
- Tech Literacy: Advanced Excel skills (you should love a good spreadsheet) and experience with real estate CRM/accounting integrations.
- Attributes: High integrity, the ability to work under pressure during "closing season," and excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
