Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning within a dynamic project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local financial regulations in Qatar
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitor project costs and support cost control initiatives
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit processes
- Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience in project-based or design/construction environments is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
