Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial operations of the travel agency, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage daily accounting processes such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll.
UtilizeeTravelorTravelogixsystems to track and analyze financial data and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance financial accuracy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Finance Supervisor, preferably in a travel agency or related industry.
Proficiency ineTravel
,
Travelogix
, or similar travel management systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, andbudget management.
Excellentanalytical skillswith a high level ofattention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
Strongleadershipand team management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in afast-paced,dynamic environment.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or similar certification is a plus).
