Support the company’s financial operations by managing day-to-day finance activities, vendor coordination, accounts payable, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth and compliant financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance operations: manage daily financial activities including invoice verification, payment processing, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Vendor & external coordination: liaise with vendors, banks, consultants, auditors, and government-related entities to ensure smooth operational and financial workflows.
- Tax & compliance: support VAT filing, tax documentation, and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal policies.
- Accounts payable management: monitor payables, maintain payment schedules, and ensure timely settlement of vendor invoices and obligations.
- Financial reporting: prepare financial reports, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and documentation for management review and audit requirements.
- Audit support: coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during financial reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
- Month-end & year-end closing: assist in closing activities including reconciliations, accruals, and financial documentation preparation.
- Budgeting & cash flow support: assist with budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring when required.
- Process improvement: collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows, documentation standards, and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial operations
- Experience coordinating with vendors, external stakeholders, auditors, and banks
- Knowledge of VAT regulations, tax filing processes, and UAE financial compliance requirements
- Familiarity with external audit processes and financial documentation standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Experience in multinational companies or high-growth environments is an advantage
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of IFRS or international accounting standards
- Prior experience in UAE finance operations and VAT filing
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial automation tools
