Role Purpose
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Operations Coordinator to join our Dubai office.
The role combines payments, invoices, bookkeeping support, financial administration, office coordination and project controls for international real estate development activities. The person will help ensure that financial processes are accurate and well documented, office operations run smoothly, and project-related deadlines, deliverables and outstanding items are properly followed up.
The role is based in Dubai and will support projects internationally, including in Africa and Indonesia. The candidate will work closely with management, external accountants, banks, consultants, contractors, suppliers and local project teams.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong structure, accuracy, follow-up and the ability to maintain control across finance, administration and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Payments, Invoices and Financial Administration: Oversee payments, invoices, and financial administration, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and clear cash flow tracking.
- Bookkeeping and Accounting Support: Support bookkeeping by maintaining organized records, assisting with reconciliations, and preparing documentation for accounting and compliance.
- Office Administration and Operations: Handle day-to-day office administration, ensuring efficient coordination, organized documentation, and smooth internal processes.
- Project Controls and Development Follow-Up: Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and issue resolution.
- Budget, Cost and Contract Tracking: Track budgets, costs, and contracts, ensuring financial visibility, cost control, and alignment with project commitments.
Qualifications
- Relevant education within accounting and/or auditing; a project management qualification is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and expanded Excel skills.
- Proven experience navigating the UAE’s regulatory and tax environment (Corporate Tax, VAT, and WPS).
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in:
– Finance / accounting / bookkeeping
– Payments, invoicing, and financial administration
- Experience with:
– Project-based environments (real estate, construction, or similar) is highly preferred
– Budget tracking, cost control, and contract coordination
- Exposure to:
– Working with external accountants/auditors
– Multi-entity or international setups is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- An independent mindset and the ability to build and improve processes from scratch.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
