SynopsisThis role will be responsible for timely and accurate processing and accounting of Passenger revenue, monthly closing, general ledger processing, and account reconciliations with focus on tax reconciliations.
Accountabilities
Performs daily processing and monitoring of passenger revenue transactions related to tickets, MCO/EMD, refund, Exchanges etc.
Performs revenue accounting related activities including Sales, Flown, Interline billing, Computations of Incentives, agent Commissions and Taxes.
Performs Passenger revenue journal entries in accounting books and reconciliations of accounts.
Performs activities related to ADM/ACM processes.
Analyse and resolve accounting transaction exceptions by coordinating with internal/external stake holders.
Responsible for preparation of MIS and other information on the Passenger revenue trends from various lines of business.
Authorize and verify all vendor invoices for payment related to revenue accounting.
Support requests from both internal and external auditors.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degrees
3 years of airline finance experience
Airline Passenger business process and accounting knowledge
Fundamental understanding of SAP Functions will be advantageous
Knowledge on MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
